How do you supply your fabric? - Most of our fabric is supplied in metres and half metres. The description of individual fabrics will state the measurements including width of the fabric. For any other measurements please send us an email.


How long before I receive my fabric?- We aim to dispatch your order within 1 working day, during busy times and weekends this may be a little longer. We pride ourselves on the speedy processing of all our orders. Our website system will email when your order has been dispatched. Occasionally customs charges are applied to packages sent abroad, these are the responsibility of the customer. Please ensure your order states the correct shipping address.


What are your postal charges? - UK:  Standard Delivery: £3.00 


Do you ship internationally? - Yes we do – If you wish to purchase from Europe or indeed from the rest of the world simply select your order and at checkout click the click and collect option. We will ascertain the cost of exact postage from our local post office and inform you. We will not take payment or dispatch until we have email confirmation from you. 


 Insurance - For orders over £50 we recommend that you insure your parcel – we will also contact you about this before we dispatch.


 How do I pay? - Payments can be made with your credit or debit card securely, or with your PayPal account.


What is your returns policy? - Once fabric is cut we cannot offer returns, if you have any questions before making a purchase, please feel free to email. However for faults, please return within 7 days and a full refund will be given. Please contact us via email to discuss returns before posting.


Do you have a shop that I can visit? - Yes we do! Our shop is open 7 days a week 9.30am – 4.30pm Mon- Sat and 10am-3.30pm Sunday. We do ask you to make an appointment as it is  residental home and we run workshops and courses and it is important to us that you get our undivided attention.

Grace and Favour Sewing, Arts & Craft Workshops

What do I need to bring with me? - For some workshops materials and equipment are supplied, others you need to bring materials or you can purchase at the time of your workshop. For our full day workshops, we recommend you bring a packed lunch. We do have tea /coffee facilities, which you are welcome to use. 


Can I bring my own Sewing Machine? - Unfortunately, you are unable to bring your own sewing machines to the workshops, as not all machines have the same features and functions needed for the workshops. For health and safety reasons all equipment also has to be PAT tested before it can be used in our studio. Most of the information given during our workshops is universal and can be applied to the majority of sewing machines but if when you return home, you struggle with your own machine please feel free to email for advice, we are happy to help where we can. However, we do run separate courses on a 1:1 basis for this by arrangement.


Are your workshops suitable for children? - Grace and Favour we have a special selection of Junior/Teen workshops These workshops are suitable for juniors/teens aged between 8 and 15 years. However, please check the age restrictions in the workshop description before booking your child onto one of these workshops. Unfortunately under 16's are not permitted on any of our adult workshops unless it is stated it is a junior or young persons course with appropriately qualified staff.


Where do the workshops take place? -The workshops take place in our purpose designed sewing school situated in our home and gardens at 49 Tarn Road, Little Thornton, Cleveleys. FY5 5AY Our sewing studio is a beautiful and inspiring creative space. Booking & Cancellation policy

How do I book? - The easiest way to secure your place on our workshops is to book online.  Browse through the Workshops section and click on those that interest you.  This will take you to the full workshop description where you can select the date of your workshop and add to your basket.. Full payment is required at time of booking, unless by prior agreement with Tracy Coxey only.


What if I can’t make the workshop?

Cancellation and refund policy - 

A full, cleared payment is required prior to attending our workshops

If you have to cancel your workshop we will need seven days notice (7days) we will refund 50% of your workshop fee. If this has expired then we will not be able to offer a refund. but will endeavour to off you an alternative date to attend.

If you have to cancel your course we will need fourteen days (14 days) notice, we will refund 50% of your workshop. If this has expired then we will not be able to offer you a refund and may not be able to offer an alternative date as these courses are specialist one of sessions, If you are not able to attend one of the dates on your course you will be expectext to catch up at your own expense and will not be offered a refund for any dates you cannot attend.  The reason we have this policy is because the sanctuary still has to pay external tutor(s) and they will have made arrangements to deliver your course and will have their own out of pocket expenses.

If by chance, the workshop or course is cancelled by Grace and Favour, we will give you as much advance notice as possible. We will offer a credit voucher, transfer your booking to another workshop or issue you with a full refund by negotiation.

We reserve the right to change a tutor due to any unforeseen circumstances
